    6 Healthy and Delicious Desserts
Taming your sweet tooth is really a challenging task, especially if you keep track of your diet and do all possible to stay in good shape. It is great if you never have sweet cravings (which is very unlikely).
Luckily, there is a way out for those who want to stay slim and trim yet enjoy something sweet. Life without desserts would be too dull and boring, wouldn’t it? Snacking can be healthy. Forget that the only food that can make you happy is a bar of chocolate or a bowl of fatty ice-cream. We will give you a few useful tips that will not ruin your diet. Here are some of them:

    1. Fruit jelly
It is simple to make and pleasant to eat. Besides, there are dozens of fruit jellies you can make. This treat is low in calories and satisfies your sweet tooth very well. You can add some whipped cream and fresh fruit or berries. You should avoid cream if you are on a strict diet. We are sure that all of your family and especially kids will love this wonderful tasty dessert.
    2. Smoothies
This is not the first post we have written to tell you how nice smoothies are. Let us remind you once again that green and fruit smoothies are nutritious yet low in calories. You can use all sort of vegetables and fruits to make your smoothie taste different every day. Let your creativity rule in the kitchen. Do not hesitate to mix flavors and textures. You might try and invent your own smoothie. Add a bit of almond butter, flax seeds or your favorite nuts. Use honey or stevia instead of sugar.

    3. Tea
Tea is not a meal. It is a beverage, not food and you might think that tea cannot tame your sweet tooth. You are wrong. The point is to learn to prepare your tea. Turn this fragrant drink into a sweet treat by choosing naturally sweet tea. Just like with smoothies, you can add stevia or honey to your tea to make it taste nice. Black tea tastes great if you add some almond milk. Think of other ingredients and do not be afraid of experiments!

    4. Cocoa dusted almonds
We all love chocolate and this little tip will teach you to make a healthy snack. It is easy to prepare and does not require too much time or money. All ingredients can be found at home or the nearest store. Here is what you will need: 2 teaspoons sea salt, 2 tablespoons natural cocoa powder, 2 cups whole raw almonds and 2 tablespoons agave syrup. Preheat the oven to 340 degrees, then mix the syrup, almonds and salt in a bowl. Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 10 minutes. When you take the almonds out, put them back in the bowl and add cocoa powder. Toss well to cover the almonds with the cocoa. Finally, cool the treat and store it in a container.

    5. Hot chocolate
Hot chocolate might not be the healthiest snack, however, from time to time you need to let yourself feel happy. Prepare your own hot choco and add a bit of whipped cream on top. Hot chocolate can be bought at a coffee shop, but order a very small serving then.

    6. Dressed-up yogurt
Dairy products are a great option for those who want to stay healthy. Low-fat yogurt is rich in calcium needed for your bones. Potassium and protein are good for your skin and nails. Protein makes you feel full for longer. But let your plain yogurt taste different from time to time by adding coconut flakes, seeds, berries or chopped nuts. You can even use dark chocolate chips or any other fragrant and refreshing ingredient to turn your yogurt into delicious dessert. It sounds good, it tastes good!
